  • Pedagogical: Co-editor of widely-used text: The Grid: Blueprint for a Future Computing Infrastructure (Morgan Kaufmann, 1999: http://www.mkp.com/grid); also, teaching of numerous related tutorials.
  • Research tools: Developed numerous software systems that have seen extensive use in the research community including the Compositional C++ programming environment, the Nexus communication library and the Globus Grid toolkit.
