Research Experience

Mackale Joyner's research interests include high-performance languages, object-oriented scientific applications, and compilation strategies. His current work focuses on developing compiler optimizations to improve high-performance object-oriented scientific applications. The goal of this work involves decreasing the performance gap between Java and languages used in scientific languages such as C and Fortran.
