Graduate Student, Computer Science |
Educational Background
- Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science Currently, University of Houston, USA
- M.S. in Computer Science(2000), Harbin Institute of Technology, China
- B. S. in Computer Science(1998), Harbin Institute of Technology, China
Research Experience
Bo Liu's research activities mainly fall in:
- Grid computing, especiall viewing the Grid from the applications' point of view. Current project is Virtual Grid Application Development Software(VGrADS). Previous research activites were autorization and its policies in Grid.
- Computer and network security, especially focusing on autonomous agent-based distributed intrusion detection system, which involves agent support for host and network intrusion detection, combination of anomaly and misuse intrusion detection, and fomal description of attacking model and network events.
