Research

Jerry Chou's research interests are Distributed System and High Performance Computing. Before joining the Concurrent Systems Architecture Group (CSAG) led by Dr. Andrew Chien, Jerry was a member of EOS Lab at NTHU, Taiwan. His master thsis is Lookup Protocol for Peer-to-Peer Distributed System. The related reserach results are published on CCGrid and PDPTA.

Currently, Jerry is part of vGrADs team at CSAG Group. The research topics include research selection, allocation and discovery. In the Virtual Grid Execution System (vgES), he desinged and developed the vgAgent which is a resource discovery system for vgES. vgAgent is a framework for retrieving resource information from information services in Grid, such as MDS and NWS. It populates the information for resource selection in vgES and updates the information for the allocated resources to users.
